Skipper ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application Skipper (the "App") handles your information.

Skipper does not collect any personal data. According to Apple's App Store definition, "collect" refers to transmitting data off the device in a way that allows us and/or our third-party partners to access it. Since all messages you create in Skipper remain stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any external systems, we do not collect any of your personal information.
How Skipper Works
When you write a message to yourself in Skipper:
The message is stored locally on your device only
The message is scheduled for delivery anytime from 4-8 days later at a randomized time from 10am-8pm using your device's local notification system
No data is transmitted to Skipper's servers or any external services
We have no access to your messages at any time
Your messages never leave your device
What This Means for You
Because your data stays on your device:
We cannot see your messages: The Skipper team has no access to the content of messages you write to yourself
We cannot help recover lost messages: If you delete a message or lose your device, we cannot restore your messages because we don't have access to them
We cannot delete messages before delivery: If you want to cancel a message before it's delivered, we cannot help because the message exists only on your device
Data Storage and Security
All messages are stored locally on your device using your device's secure data storage. The security of your messages depends on your device's built-in security features, such as a device lock.
Third-Party Services
Skipper does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. We do not integrate with social media platforms or other external services.
Apple App Store
While Skipper does not collect data, Apple may collect standard app performance information (such as crash reports and usage statistics) as part of their App Store services. This data collection is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
Device Permissions
Skipper only requests permission to:
Send local notifications to deliver your messages
Store data locally on your device
We do not access your contacts, camera, location, or other device features.
Data Export and Backup
Currently, Skipper does not provide features to export or backup your messages. All messages exist only in the app on your device. We may consider adding these features in future updates. If you would like to request this functionality, you can contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
Skipper does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal data from any users, this policy applies to users of all ages.
